Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the advisory relationship between Drymflur, operated by Oskar Flø ("Consultant"), and any individual or corporate entity ("Client") requesting consultation or setup documentation via drymflur.pro.

1. Nature of the Advisory Services

Drymflur provides remote technical consultation, acoustic planning, and equipment configuration advice for home-based audio, video, podcast, and livestream recording setups. All advisory services are delivered digitally through scheduled remote video calls (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) or written PDF specification roadmaps.

Drymflur is an independent advisory practice. We are not an equipment retailer, distributor, or electrical contractor. Clients retain full discretion over their hardware purchases from independent regional suppliers.

2. Commercial Terms and Pricing Transparency

• Introductory Consultation: The initial 30-minute diagnostic session is provided without charge (0 cost) and carries no obligation to purchase extended services.
• Extended Custom Blueprints: Comprehensive architectural schematics, multi-camera broadcasting manuals, or extended technical support retain transparent, fixed scopes agreed upon in writing prior to billing.
• No Hidden Subscriptions: Drymflur does not operate automatic recurring billing or recurring retainer fees without explicit, written client instruction.

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client is solely responsible for:

• Providing accurate spatial dimensions and workspace descriptions during diagnostic sessions.
• Verifying that electrical hardware meets local electrical code and voltage requirements (e.g. 240V, 50Hz, Type G UK plugs standard in Malaysia).
• Safe physical mounting of cameras, monitor arms, and heavy boom equipment in their premises.

4. Intellectual Property

All written setup guides, equipment lists, and technical blueprints provided by Drymflur are licensed to the Client for internal personal or business use. Redistribution, commercial resale, or public publication of proprietary advisory blueprints is prohibited without prior written consent.

5. Limitation of Professional Liability

Technical guidance is delivered with professional skill and diligence based on standard acoustic and broadcasting practices. However, because ambient acoustics, structural room modes, and third-party software updates are outside our physical control, Drymflur does not warrant that any specific hardware will eliminate all background noise or software latency. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Drymflur shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from hardware purchases made through third-party vendors.

6. Governing Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Norwegian commercial law, without prejudice to mandatory statutory consumer protection laws in the Client's jurisdiction of residence (including the Malaysian Consumer Protection Act 1999 where applicable). The parties agree to seek amicable resolution of any dispute via written communication to [email protected] prior to formal proceedings.
